Who is Dr. P?

Dr. Patricelli started her career in healthcare as an RN, during which time she worked in Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Infant Transport, and Outpost Nursing in British Columbia and as an RN for the Easter Seals Camps for children with disabilities.

She was a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of British Columbia and did  a residency in Family Medicine at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. She worked in family medicine for seven years in Vancouver with the street youth and on the FIR (Families in Recovery) unit at BC Women’s Hospital. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UBC and ABAM diplomat (American Board of Addiction Medicine).

She has lectured internationally on perinatal substance use and neonatal abstinence syndrome.

Dr. Patricelli currently practices in Surrey, British Columbia and is an advocate for empowerment through education, opportunity, and choice.
